This is a personal portfolio site of Amsterdam based designer,
Olga Scholten. It shows a collection of graphic design work
and personal projects (1999-present).
Graduated from and taught graphic design at The Royal Art Academy
in 's-Hertogenbosch. Was employed at Thonik, Anton Beeke Studio,
and Atelier René Knip. Started up her own graphic studio in 1999.
She works in collaboration with René Knip for the Royal Concertgebouw
Orchestra and with Joep van der Made for Zuiderzee Museum, and Ars Donandi.
Besides her commissioned work she experiments with self–initiated
art projects. One of her projects is her website, where she has
her thin drawings come to life.She published a book containing
drawings and text, designed a cover for The 1000 Journal Project.
Participated in an exhibition, by Max Kisman, at the Centraal Museum
in Utrecht with a performance of live drawings. She recently was invited
by Dave Eggers to be a part of his exhibition at Apexart 'Lots of things
like this' in New York.
